The California American Fire Sprinkler Association, CAFSA, program is approved through the State of California’s Division of Apprenticeship Standards and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Ap-prenticeship Training, Education and Labor (OATELS). It’s a five-year, performance based, ten level regimen of home study, classroom instruction, hands-on lab work, and on-the job training … which will develop your employees into skilled, motivated and productive craftspeople.
The CAFSA Unilateral Apprenticeship Committee (UAC) is comprised of independent and seasoned Fire Sprinkler contractors who are committed to developing a strong and competent manpower resource for our talent hungry industry. The UAC oversees management of the training program, is responsible for the ongoing improvement of the training curricula, and strives to represent the com-mon interests of fire sprinkler contractors with the various federal and state agencies it must interact with as a recognized educational resource for our industry.
We urge you to join us in our mission of enhancing, and improving our growing industry.
