About Us

About Us

The California American Fire Sprinkler Association, CAFSA, apprenticeship program is approved through the State of California’s Division of Apprenticeship Standards and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Apprenticeship Training, Education and Labor (OATELS). It is a five-year, performance-based program, consisting of a ten-level regimen of home study, classroom instruction, hands-on lab work, and on-the job training.  Our program develops your employees into skilled, motivated, and productive craftspeople.

Our Mission

Through comprehensive state and federally approved apprenticeship training programs, CAFSA develops apprentices into trained and skilled journeyworkers within the fire sprinkler industry.

Our Vision

Provide a career training pathway within the merit shop fire protection industry to protect every California life, property, and business.
